Baked Delights
A large percentage of the Temp-Cast heaters shipped each year include the bake oven option.  When the fire is out, the bake oven holds excellent baking temperatures for several hours.   more info >

Budget Considerations
It has been our experience that a finished masonry heater with Temp-Cast standard core kit will cost approximately $2000 to $2500 more than similarly-sized traditional masonry fireplace with a custom glass door. more info >

Installation Workshop
Bill Brown, of Grass Roots Energy Inc. in Wauconda IL, had watched the masonry heater industry for several years before deciding that it was time to get involved with Temp-Cast. International Orders
Outside of the United States & Canada, Temp-Cast masonry heater kits have been shipped to several international destinations over the last 11 years.  These countries include  Japan, Germany, France, England and Austria.  We have also recently shipped heaters to a new dealer in Australia.  more info >

North American Approvals
Throughout Canada and the United States, Temp-Cast masonry heaters are installed in accordance with local and national building codes as site-built masonry fireplaces. In addition, Temp-Cast heaters have been accepted as clean-burning heaters by the Environmental Protection Agency in the United States. more info >

Production Facilities
Temp-Cast has grown into the largest North American manufacturer of masonry heaters for several reasons. The most important of these is the fact that masonry heaters are our only business - we don't do masonry work, install fireplaces or sell other unrelated products - we only do masonry heaters. Our committment to the product is 100% and unconditional. In addition, a large part of our success can be attributed to our 7500 sq.ft. production facilities in Port Colborne Ontario, located 25 miles from the US/Canada border near Niagara Falls. more info>
